IMMEDIATE RESULTS
If we see an emergency, we will alert you immediately. Our normal routine is to deliver the report the same day or the day after, for each furnace. Very seldom do we demobilize before reporting is done, documentation is delivered, and a close out meeting has taken place, if required.
But more significantly, we work long term with each client. The best way to use us is by being systematic, do pre-turnaround surveys, post turnaround baseline surveys, and regular routine inspections. In addition, we are confident that nobody can do troubleshooting of difficult problems better than us.
PRE-TURNAROUND
The opportunity cost of shutting down a plant is huge! It need to be used to the fllest, to make sure all issues are captured and diagnosed well in time, so they can be attended to during the turnaround. You will begin the next run with a 100% fit plant.
POST TURNAROUND
The best time to begin a program with Cronholm is directly after commissioning and start-up. Regardless of when we begin, the initial survey will always serve as a baseline, and after a turnaround we always do a baseline for later comparison.
ROUTINE SURVEYS
When everything is working well, we make sure it stays that way - otherwise we will find anything that has gone wrong in time. Very often we can follow the development of upcomng issues long before they become urgent, and give you an early warning when it becomes an issuse that needs to be dealt with.
TROUBLESHOOTING
This is where our professionalism really gets put to the test! In many cases we have been the solution, where others have failed. Because of our experience and deep knowledge of heat transfer - in theory and practice - we know what things should look like, and when something is not right. Challenge us!
OUR WORK DOES NOT BEGIN AT THE FURNACE
Before we reach your site to do the survey, we will have collected data about the furnaces and their history, and prepared the documentation system for your plant. Most likely, people in more than one country, including yours, will have worked with you to prepare. Our level of comprehensive documentation is unmatched. The system is made to work long term, so that years later we can go back and compare with today. That requires that all necessary data, such as load, excess oxygen, inlet and outlet temperatures, thermocouple readings, etc, are all gathered, always.
